Ms Sawsan Tawkaz awarded Masters degree

Ms Sawsan Tawkaz

Ms Sawsan Tawkaz, research technician with ICARDA’s Biodiversity and Integrated Gene Management (BIGM) Program, has been awarded her Masters degree by the Sudan Academy of Sciences. She successfully defended her thesis on ‘Response of some wheat genotypes to anther culture technique for doubled haploid production’, for which the research was conducted at ICARDA. Ms Tawkaz worked under the joint supervision of Dr Michael Baum, Director of ICARDA’s BIGM Program,  and Prof. Abdelbagi Mukhtar Ali from the Biotechnology and Biosafety Center of the Agricultural Research Corporation, Sudan. Congratulations!
