Dr Ashutosh Sarker (right) is felicitated by the Nepal Agricultural Research Council

Dr Ashutosh Sarker, Coordinator and Food Legume Breeder, ICARDA South Asia and China Regional Program, was honored by the Nepal Agricultural Research Council last month. A citation and a special plaque, presented by Dr Bharatendu Mishra, NARC Executive Director, mentioned Dr Sarker’s “…outstanding contributions to food and nutritional security and improved livelihoods of Nepalese farmers.. through improved lentil production technologies.” Congratulations!

  2. Basically rice breeder for 6 years, turned to maize breeder for 9 years and again got the assignment as wheat geneticist and cytogenecist since 5 years.
